GROUNDNUT

Groundnut or peanut or Arachis hypogaea is in season now. I don't know if it's just in Lagos but I see it everywhere.
Groundnut can be roasted, boiled, fried, used in soups, sauces and other dishes. You can also make yummy groundnut/peanut butter with it and also extract oil from it. The oil can be used for cooking and for skin and hair use.
Some people have argued that groundnut is fattening because of the oil content, some say it isn't. I am no doctor but i think just like everything in life, don't ever do it, practise portion control.
